Here i'm going to tell about iPhone 15 release date predictions, price, specs, and must-know features

Apple is getting set to unveil the iPhone 15 family, and we now have a ton of leaks and rumors that have disclosed a lot about the new iPhones about one month and a half before the anticipated official launch in September 2023.

First of all, you should be aware that the iPhone 15 series, like the iPhone 14 series, will consist of four versions.

The iPhone 15 lineup consists of four models, each catering to different budgets and preferences. The most budget-friendly option is the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, equipped with two rear cameras. For those seeking a larger display and a bigger battery, there's the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, also featuring two cameras. Moving on to the Pro versions, we have the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro, boasting a new powerful chip and an advanced triple-camera system. Finally, the largest in the series is the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which stands out as the first-ever iPhone to incorporate a periscope-type telephoto camera.

The major update across all four iPhone 15 models is the shift from the traditional Lightning port, used by Apple for nearly a decade, to the more versatile USB-C connector. Additionally, another exciting development is that the Dynamic Island, previously exclusive to Pro models, will now be available on all four iPhone 15 variants.

Among the new additions, the Pro models will come with an exclusive Action Button, a customizable button replacing the mute switch, offering enhanced versatility. On the other hand, the standard iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models will likely receive upgraded 48-megapixel sensors, though slightly smaller compared to the ones on the Pro versions.

In the past, there were speculations that Apple might consider replacing the physical power and volume keys with haptic buttons. However, recent months have dispelled these rumors, indicating that such drastic changes are not expected to happen this year.

Apple's iPhone launches have adhered to an unchanged schedule for years. Typically, the official announcement takes place in early to mid-September, followed by the release date approximately 10 days after the initial debut.

Based on past patterns, it is likely that Apple will continue with their established timeline for the iPhone 15 release. As a result, we can anticipate the official reveal to occur on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, and the iPhones to be available in stores on Friday, September 22nd, 2023.

Naturally, it is premature to have absolute certainty, and these dates are merely projections based on Apple's customary annual timeline rather than any leaked information.

iPhone 15 price

The pricing details of the iPhone 15 series are yet to be revealed. However, recent reports suggest that Apple is considering raising the prices for both the Pro models and the standard versions. These reports attribute the price increase to the higher costs associated with the new processors used in the devices.

The initial report regarding a potential price increase for the iPhone 15 Pro surfaced in January from a well-known user on the Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo. The report hinted at a price hike for the Pro models, although specific details about the magnitude of the increase were not provided at that time.

In March, a second report emerged from a reputable source known for accurate predictions in the past: industry analyst Jeff Pu, associated with the Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities. This report also supported the notion of a price increase for the iPhone 15 Pro models, adding further credibility to the earlier speculations.

The higher-priced components listed in the report included the new titanium frame, upgraded A17 chip, expanded RAM capacity, and the periscope zoom lens featured in the Pro Max model. However, the same report initially mentioned the rumored haptic buttons as a contributing factor to the price increase. Subsequently, new information emerged suggesting that Apple has opted to abandon the plans for haptic buttons and will stick with regular physical keys instead.

In recent years, Apple has offered the smaller iPhone Pro model at a starting price of $999 and the larger iPhone Pro Max model starting at $1,099 in the United States.

If the reports hold true, there is a possibility that the starting price of the Pro iPhones may increase by $100, according to our speculations.
It's important to note that our discussion pertains to the prices in the United States. In the previous year, Apple maintained the iPhone 14 family's prices in the US, while prices in the UK and Europe experienced a notable increase.

As of now, there is no available information on whether Apple intends to implement another price increase for those regions in the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

iPhone 15 expected US prices:
starting from $800 or $850 if there is a price hike

iPhone 15 Plus expected prices:
starting from $900 or $950 if there is a price hike

iPhone 15 Pro expected prices:

  • $1099 for 256GB
  • $1299 for 512GB
  • $1499 for 1TB

iPhone 15 Pro prices are rumored to go up by $100.

iPhone 15 Pro Max expected prices:

  • $1199 for 256GB
  • $1399 for 512GB
  • $1599 for 1TB

iPhone 15 Pro Max prices are rumored to go up by $100.

In any case, Apple is reportedly having very high hopes about the potential sales of the iPhone 15 Pro. See, Cupertino has apparently ordered way more iPhone 15 Pro displays in comparison with iPhone 14 Pro displays at the same time last year. So, one way or another, the iPhone 15 Pro could be this iPhone's generation best-seller.
